We are pleased to announce, that British Embassy Minsk in cooperation with Office for European Expertise and Communication during the years 2015-2016 will hold contact-making meetings for regional and local non-profit NGO’s and local communities activists.

The final stage of the contest of social projects "Social Weekend" took place on March, 21. The jury announced the results of the contest and awarded the participants. 16 initiatives made their way to the finish line.

Leadership in Local Communities: new people, ideas and achievements

Over the last years the need of Belarusian towns and villages brand creation is being increasingly brought up. While the brand of Minsk is still at the stage of discussion, make-up of small communities’ brands is taking place right before our very eyes. It is referred to Bashni village and Hodosy villages (“agrogorodok” ), where the participants of the program “Leadership in Local Communities” Marina Alekseenko and Aleksandr Semenov continue their active work in community development.

Information point for the local communities development

Information point for the local communities development is a space for exchange of best practices, tools and reliable data among experts, consultants and initiative people who work with communities on the local level. We offer expert information, manuals, materials, discussions and consultations for people who want to expend the possibilities of work with the local community and to change positively the world around themselves.


Developing dialogue: the sector of gender equality in Belarus

54.5% of experts constantly use data of sectoral analysis and are willing to expand the research base of the sector. "Office for European expertise and communication" is delighted to present evaluation report on the influence of the analytical document "Analysis of gender equality sector of the Republic of Belarus" on the situation in the sector.

On November 17 the youth organisations and organizations targeting youth were invited to discuss the preliminary results of the analysis of the Belarusian youth sector. The sectoral analysis was made by the research team of the Centre for European Transformation (CET).
